HELYUM (HELİUM)

Helium is the second lightest gas and in the top of noble gases.

Having helium in atmosphere is very rare. It is found in radioactive minerals and natural gas reservoirs in USA, Poland, Algeria and  Russia.

It is preferred as the coldest cryogen due to being a noble gas.

Because it not flammable, it is safe to use for balloons.

To prevent decompression sickness, divers gases are composed of 80 percent helium and 20 percent oxygen.

Areas of use:
- Automotive and transportation equipments
- Laser technology
- Magnetic Resonance Screening - Due to being super conductive
- Metal Object Production- In welding to create protective atmosphere
- Balloon Industries
- Nuclear Plants- As Coolant
- Gas Chromatography
